(How do we make sure the resources
will be tapped and the actions will be taken?
(How much support does the client want?)
1. Coach
Bookending - call the coach immediately before taking the action; take
the action; report back to he coach it is done.
Weekly call - report on the Client Prep Form; email, fax or call the coach
to report in between weekly sessions.
Reward (positive) - what reward would make this worth doing?
Consequence (negative) - what consequence would be bad enough to guarantee
that the action will be taken?
2. Calendar
Write it down now in your time management system.
Enter also in computer calendar, if you have one.
3. Personal Assistant
Ask your secretary or personal assistant to make a note and remind you
of the commitment.
4. Family / Significant
Other
Tell your family of the project and the actions to be taken, and ask them
for reminders and encouragement.
5. Staff
If you have staff and the project involves them and it is appropriate,
involve them in the actions and the schedule.
6. Personal Plan
Check how this action is consistent with your overall life planning.
7. Business Plan
Identify exactly where this action is called for in your business plan
to see what else needs attention.
